While the event is a major celebration of mass participation running, it also serves as the stage for a fiercely contested race featuring a strong French elite field. In the women’s race, France’s leading road-running specialists will be on the start line, including a highly anticipated showdown between previous winners: Manon Trapp, the defending champion and already a two-time winner of the event (2023, 2025), and Margaux Sieracki, who claimed victory in 2024. They will also face competition from Mélanie Allier and Javote Gueret.
In the men’s race, some of France’s top road runners will also be in attendance, with Antonin Marquant and Aziz Boukebal aiming to secure a prestigious victory. Fellow French athletes Ishak Dahmani and Faustin Guigon will also be among the contenders.
Beyond the road-running specialists, the event continues to showcase its universal appeal by welcoming sporting personalities such as handball legend Thierry Omeyer and former rugby player Lénaïg Corson.
This year, the adidas 10K Paris will be officially started by Mathis Desloges. One of the breakout stars of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games, the French cross-country skier made a lasting impression by winning three silver medals. From snowy trails to the streets of Paris, the mindset remains the same: push your limits and enjoy every moment.
More Than a Race: A Celebration of Every Running Experience
Beyond athletic performances, the adidas 10K Paris is above all a celebration of the diversity of its participants. Several race formats allow everyone to experience the event at their own pace: the Duo format for pairs, the Team of Four challenge for groups, and the Thule Stroller Start Area, returning this year to enable parents to take part safely alongside their children. It is an inclusive and unifying event where elite athletes and recreational runners share the same collective energy.
More than ever, the event plays its role as a gateway into the sport: 66% of participants are taking part for the first time, while over a quarter of runners (27%) will officially tackle the 10K distance for the first time. Gender parity is also within reach, with 48% women on the start line. Meanwhile, a record 2,400 charity bibs and nearly €440,000 raised for 39 charities highlight the event’s strong social impact and community commitment.
