Here are a few tips to help you get off to a calm start:
- I check my entry time in the airlock
- I run light, taking as few personal items as possible.
- Don't wear plastic, ponchos or garbage bags when waiting in the airlock. Old clothes will be collected for donation or recycling.
- I facilitate control operations
- I pay attention to the messages broadcast at the start.
- I report any suspicious behavior or objects to security.
- I make sure that my race number is visible throughout the race, and that it is worn on my chest, otherwise I risk disqualification (note that certain accessories may prevent me from wearing my race number correctly).
- I organize myself with my family and friends by setting an exact meeting point after leaving the finish area.
